When is the Best Time

It depends on what sort of weather you could tolerate. Generally the best time to visit SE Asia or South Asia is from November to next April as it is the most comfortable season due to less rain and cool weather. The most comfortable seasons for China and other tourist destinations are spring (April & May) and autumn (September & October).

How Long to Stay

If you know what you want to see or to do, it will be helpful to decide how long to stay.
