Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Beijing Arrival

Upon arriving in Beijing capital airport, you will be greeted and met by the local tour guide and transferred to your hotel, whenever your flight arrives in Beijing. The guide will help you with hotel check in.

Day 2 Beijing

Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby in the morning. Have a stop at Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world; then walk to today’s highlight Forbidden City, the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. Climb to the top of Coal hill in Jingshan Park for a nice panoramic view of the Forbidden City.
A leisure trip to Temple of Heaven is arranged for you in the afternoon. It was used to pray for harvest by the emperors. Shopping time to explore Panjiayuan Antique Market and Pearl Market before back to hotel.

Day 3Beijing

Start the Great Wall adventure today. Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, which is more popular among foreign visitors. Upon arrival, you can choose to hike on the Great Wall, or take cable car up and walk around. Have lunch at the nearby restaurant before back to Beijing downtown. One the way, visit the exterior Bird Nest and Water Cube, the amazing architectures that built for Beijing Olympic Games. Experience Chinese tea at a tea house before back to hotel.

Day 4Beijing-Xian

In the morning, drive to Drum Tower area for taking a relaxing Hutong Tour by rickshaw to experience the Beijing local lifestyle. Continue visit to Summer Palace, the existing largest, best-preserved imperial garden in China. After lunch, be transferred to the airport for the 2 hours flight to Xian.

Day 5Xian

With pick up from your hotel in the morning, drive to Terracotta Warriors and explore one of the world's most important archaeological finds, with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation. Shuttle bus will be arranged for your convenience. After Lunch, visit the Ancient Xian City Wall, which represents one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls. Bicycle or sightseeing car will be arranged on the wall to go around. Continue to visit Muslim Quarter and enjoy your shopping time there.

Day 6Xian-Lhasa

Take early morning flight to Lhasa. Your Tibet tour guide will wait for you at the airport and help you to transfer to the hotel. Relax and have a good rest at your hotel to acclimatize when you arrive. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 7Lhasa

Start to explore the Holy city by visiting Potala Palace, the largest monastery of its type in the world and official home to Dalai Lama. Walk around the Potala Palace Clockwise to appreciate those who worship every day and also experience the life of local residents. Then go to the opposite hill in order to get a panoramic picture of Potala Palace, which is the best photo spot. After lunch, visit Jokhang Monastery, where monks receive their official training and education. Shopping time at Barkhor Street, a window into Tibetan culture and an opportunity to buy colorful ethnic handicrafts rarely seen outside of Tibet.

Tips: When you enter into a temple or monastery in Tibet, please take off your hats at the entrance to show your respects and follow the clockwise direction for visiting. No smoking, do not touch the Buddha statues, turn the Buddhism scriptures or toll the bell.

Day 8Lhasa

Today you will visit Drepung Monastery in the morning, one of the three great monasteries in Tibet. Then go to Norbulingka Park, a traditional summer palace and residence starting with the 7th Dalai Lama. In the afternoon, the guide will show your way to Sera Monastery to see a monks debating inside the shady courtyard behind the main temple. After that, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time.

Day 9Lhasa-Shanghai

Free at leisure before flying o Shanghai for about 6 hours. Shanghai tour guide will wait for you at the airport and help you to check in hotel.

Day 10Shanghai

The exploring Shanghai day tour start from a visit Jade Buddha Temple, famous for the seated Buddha, encrusted with jewels. Then have the exterior view of Oriental Pearl TV Tower, while walking on Riverside Promenade Bingjiang Da Dao. The local snack will be arranged as your lunch. After a short breakfast, visit Yuyuan Garden, a Chinese classic garden in city downtown. Spend shopping time at Shanghai Old Street and Nanjing Road, the earliest commercial street in Shanghai. Walk along the Bund, famous for groups of buildings known as "a Gallery of world architecture".

Day 11 Shanghai Departure

Free day at leisure and be transferred to the airport for return flight. We can arrange the Maglev train ride to Pudong airport if you are interested in, or we will drive you directly to the airport.
